I recently stayed at a charming chateau in an amazing location. The view from the room was breathtaking and the pool area was great. The friendly staff gave us a special room for our honeymoon, which was much appreciated. The nearby village was also a delight to explore.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Due to the location of this hotel we had a little trouble finding it (you cannot find its location using your SatNav, only the nearest town), however the receptionist was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English so we soon managed to find it. We enjoyed a nice evening meal at the hotel on their terrace and finished our bottle of wine by the pool overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside. This hotel is perfect if you are looking for some peace and relaxation and we hope very much to return for a longer stay.

The hotel's building is from the beginning of the 19th century, it's really beautiful and is located on top of the hill so we had a great view!
Unfortunately (because the building is from the beginning of the 19th century) from our hotel room we could hear all noises coming from outside our door or next room. There were some guets arriving late at night and we could hear their walking (though they didn't make a lot of noises) or their talking or even their luggage-roller ...

The villa is located at the top of a hill, surrounded by olive trees. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The food at the restaurant of the hotel is very good (frsh, home made ingredients). The staff was polite and helpful.

This place was amazing and we cant recommend it more. We were upgraded to a bigger room and it was like staying at a stately home. The grounds and food were lovely and the staff were very helpful. We chose Panzano to stay so we were near the famous Butcher and it was only up the road- a short drive or walk. Great base for exploring the other Chianti areas. Panzano itself is very nice.

I had a great value for my money at this country house in the Tuscan hills. The room was spacious with stunning views of the local castle and the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home throughout my stay.
The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety or some additional hot food choices.

This place is very picturesque - the grounds, the pool area and the surrounding views are all beautiful.
While the hotel restaurant is pleasant to eat in, due to the remote location it is really your only option for dinner which may be a struggle for a long stay.

Panzano is a small but vibrant town in chianti with many good restaurants near-by. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and in giving directions. Dario, the butcher of Panzano is 3 minutes away and people travel hours to eat in his two restaurants. So, good location, friendly and informative staff and a nice b&b in a splendid countryside setting.
No television in the room. The linens could use an update.

Couldn't leave soon enough to escape the breathtaking views and charming atmosphere.

It is an absolutely beautiful building, with incredible views of Chianti hillsides! The room was large, and had nice, functional antique furniture. They cooked some quite tasty food in their restaurant, and were very kind in modifying recipes for dietary restrictions.
They had just opened for the spring season 3 days before we arrived, and they had not gotten their internet working yet. Since the rooms have no television, and the only other people staying there were taking cooking classes, we felt quite isolated. Their swimming pool also was still drained, and they had people out working on it, so we really couldn't sit out there in that beautiful setting and enjoy the fantastic view from that side of the building. The dining room was really cold at night. The room was also quite chilly each night until they turned the radiators on, but after that, it was fine. We had a couple of mosquitoes in the room the first day, when it was hot, but none after that. There was no mini-frig in the room. For early risers, it is difficult to get coffee before their restaurant opens at 8 am.

Beautiful setting in wine area, near Panzano with comfortable acomodations. The staff did a wonderful job in planning excursions and assisting with driving directions throughout the area.
It would be useful to have a comfortable reading chair and lamp in the guest room. There were adequate reading/relaxing chairs and sofas in the common areas, but not in the private rooms.

being able to walk along a country road, taking photographs of rural Tuscany. Very beautiful environment, building, furnishings. Very neat and well run, by friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant fair priced, wonderful food. I would like to keep this a secret, so that this wonderful place remains accessible, not become over crowded!
a bit difficult to find! We were searching for it in Greve, while it was actually much nearer to Panzano.
